Tian shu (celestial pivot )

 A very interesting acupuncture point is tianshu. 

Belongs to stomach meridian No. 25.

Location 8-10cm lateral to the center of the umbilicus. 

This point has major connection with the energy of 

 Colon . Regulates it's functioning (regulate and eliminate stagnation of qi).

Indications include vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain 

constipation, irregular menstruation, infertility 

intestinal paralysis, endometritis ,and lower back pain. 

Acupuncture method -vertically .We can  use also 

moxibustion. 

Massage techniques :

Press and hold the point.

Rub across the point or press slowly with both thumbs

and release quickly pulling the thumbs apart .

Fingertip percussion can be used on this point.
