Hospital bed Dan tian meditation

 Covid virus made an universal entry killing  people worldwide and putting many in hospitals.  A very simple but powerful meditation is the concentration on the lower Dan tian. A little below the navel approximately  three fingers you can concentrate and imagine that a shinning ball in the size of ping pong ball is glowing more and more with every breath circle  you make . Breath in breath out and put your thoughts in the spot bellow the navel . Relax and imagine that the warmth light of the ball is  spreading in all of your  body giving power and wellbeing.  This meditation can be done as you're resting on  the  bed. It really helps if someone   practice it every day.  God bless you all. 

November 17th 1973

 Our thoughts to the people that gave their life for Democracy and Freedom at the streets of Athens during the student uprising against the military government of Greece that took place in 17th of November 1973 . Greek youth of the time had direct confrontation with the people in power and helped Democracy reestablished in our Country. 

Afternoon tai chi and xing yi practice

 Sunday afternoon with tai chi , xing yi and friends . A great feeling to practice in the park. Trees and friendly people around relaxing and taking  strength for the week ahead. I had the  opportunity to give an introduction of these two arts to a colleague of mine.  It was refreshing and joyful I hope for both of us . Practice of internal kung fu is something that can follow a person with terrific results until old  age.  Hopefully it will accompany me through the rest of my  life time as it did til now. 

Tai chi chuan

 Tai chi chuan has proven it self as a great health support for hundreds of people all around the world. The martial aspect  of the art many times is been criticised by many modern martial artists and some of them have proved their point of view in duels against  tai chi masters.  The fact that someone can win in a duel is significant  but not necessarily terminal for conclusion. Any way tai chi chuan it something much more than fistfight and I recommend it as a great art that will  give many benefits for someone who will give  time working on it.

Aikido

 For two years now I practice the art of aikido with the guidance of Vangelis Makris sensei. I consider him as close friend ,fellow artist and brilliant teacher.
