 Twenty years ago his books were a constant source  of reference and education for me. His knowledge and His profound understanding about Kung Fu maid  people around the world to have valuable information about Chinese Culture in general. Chinese martial arts are worldwide respected because of his down to earth scientific and functional approach. 

He is not the  first Chinese with Western Academic  education that maid  Chinese Culture accessible to westerners but his work is the most methodical and successful.
